Hawthorn cottage is one of three attractive timber-clad traditional cottages. This two-storey cottage has its own private terrace with outdoor furniture, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or sit out for a relaxing evening meal. The terrace is accessible directly from the spacious lounge/diner, which has two comfy sofas and a flat-screen TV with DVD. The kitchen is well-equipped for whipping up a hearty breakfast, and has a fridge/freezer for storing food, electric cooker, hob, washing machine, drier, microwave, kettle, ironing board and iron, and cutlery/cooking utensils.. This cottage is perfect for a group of friends or a family looking for a bit of extra space.
Downstairs the bathroom has bath and overhead shower, WC .On the first floor are two bedrooms, one twin and one double, which have a solid-wood wardrobe and bedside tables.

Outside: This cottage is set within the enclosed grounds of Nutley Edge, which has 11 acres of rolling pasture and forest, comfortable outside seating areas, picnic tables and children’s play equipment, wildlife pond and stream with our own ‘pooh bridge’

Hawthorn cottage is within 2 miles of Nutley village, which has a couple of great restaurants and a small convenience store, and the nearby town of Uckfield, with larger shops, pubs and amenities, including a cinema and indoor pool. This property is also only a short distance from the south coast, with the seaside resorts of Brighton and Eastbourne both less than an hour’s drive away.

Amenities: Free parking on the site. Bed linen, towels, WIFI and electric and central heating included. No smoking in the cottages. Pets welcome at £35 per dog, maximum of two per booking. Dogs  must be kept on a lead at all times with the exception of the designated dog paddock (at owners risk)
