About the property
Chestnut is one of our two storey spacious Courtyard Cottages, located at the heart of Nutley Edge. Inside you will find a large lounge/diner with comfy sofas and a modern kitchen, plus a television with DVD player if you fancy a night in. The wet room is also on the ground floor, while the two cosy bedrooms are upstairs. Outside, you have access to a private outdoor space to relax with potted plants and garden furniture, where you can enjoy a drink and nibbles. This cottage sleeps up to four people, and is ideal for a couple looking to get away from it all, or for a larger family group.
Chestnut cottage is situated a mile from the village of Nutley, where you will find two excellent restaurants, a convenience store, petrol garage and antique shop. Another charming village, Forest Row, is just 5 miles from Nutley Edge. The village dates back to the 11th century when King Henry VIII built hunting lodges there so he could hunt in the Ashdown Forest. Today Forest Row is a busy, charming village with tea rooms, coffee shops and nice places to go for lunch.
Outside: This cottage is set within the enclosed grounds of Nutley Edge. The whole site covers more than 11 acres, all of which is available to roam, and you will find fields and woodland to explore, along with a designated dog paddock. NB: dogs must be kept on a lead in the communal areas and they should not enter the goat paddock.
Amenities: Ample parking on the site. Bed linen, towels, WIFI and electric / central heating included. No smoking in the cottages. Pets welcome with an additional cost of £35 per dog and maximum of two per cottage.

The ground floor of this two-storey cottage consists of a lounge/diner (TV, DVD, WIFI), fully-equipped kitchen and a wet room with power shower and WC. Kitchen: with fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, washing machine, microwave, kettle, ironing board and iron, and cutlery/cooking utensils. Upstairs hosts two bedrooms, which can be made into twins or super king depending on requirements.
