Christmas is fast approaching and we are feeling festive! We already have the tinsel up, in and around the office. We have the Christmas tree for the Farmhouse. The Christmas Activity Break then get to decorate it and the rest of the Farmhouse too. The Festive Fun Activity Break commences today (Thursday 7th December) for 4 nights. They will enjoy a Turkey dinner, Christmas shopping in Uckfield, lots of carols, dancing and more! I can’t wait to see what the finished tree looks like. This will be the last Activity Break until March, that Break will be themed Food Lovers: Hone your baking skills, try out new recipes and enjoy local restaurants.
Every year we go to Wilderness Wood in Hadlow Down to get the perfect Christmas tree. There is a great variety of trees, you can cut your own or choose pre cut trees. All of the cut your own trees had been reserved before November even finished but I think we still got a lovely tree. Wilderness wood is open all year round, they do a lot of workshops for children and adults all year. It has a cute little café where you can cosy up with a coffee and slice of cake in front of the roaring log burner. Yes you would have found us in there yesterday, it would have been rude not to! (The Jammie Dodger cake was a feast for the eyes as well as our tummies). Wilderness wood is listed, along with plenty of others, in our things to do page. This is where you can find plenty of local attractions.
We are fully booked for this years festive period but we do have availability for next year. believe it or not, we do already have some cottages booked for next Christmas so you need to get in there fast before you miss out.
