Well isn’t this weather just gorgeous…? Perfect weather for ducks and.. internal decoration.
We have given the downstairs of the Farmhouse a revamp. With a nice lick of white paint, new photos and artistic frames, the Farmhouse is feeling as fresh as a daisy. One idea that I think has topped the whole process is that the TV is now on wheels making the space even more adaptable than before. You can now watch a film whilst snuggled up in front of the inglenook fireplace. Or simply move the TV out the way for a gathering. The space feels even larger now that the bookshelf has been relocated and sofa’s can be more spread out. It is also amazing what a difference a houseplant makes!
With regards to the Artistic frames. They have been kindly supplied to us by local artists. Their pieces are displayed in all cottages and the Farmhouse. The pieces of art can then be sold straight off the wall too. We have our first load of frames up from the very local artist Claire Sullivan. Claire lives in Nutley Village practically making her a neighbour. She takes her inspiration from everything local from the Ashdown Forest to the lanes in Brighton. This is her website so you can browse through her work. http://clairesullivanart.co.uk/
We also have some very unique pieces from Clive Campbell a glass Artisan. He again is a local artist based in Crowborough with a special interest in Fused glass wall art, Stained glass and coloured lead light panels. His glass wall art can also be purchased here onsite. Here is his website so you can have a browse at some of his other pieces. Clive also does commissioned pieces. http://ariesglass.uk/
